Frequently asked questions
Who is peaflow for?
Adult children and other family caregivers who help a parent keep track of their medications — especially from another town. Your parent can use it too, with simple reminders on their own phone.
Does my parent need an iPhone?
No. You can run everything from your iPhone and confirm doses when you're together or on the phone. If your parent has an iPhone, they can get their own reminders and tap to confirm each dose.
How does scanning a bottle work?
Point your iPhone at the pharmacy label. The text is read on the phone itself, and peaflow fills in the name, strength and directions for you to check and edit. The photo is never uploaded.
What happens when a dose isn't confirmed?
On Plus, everyone in the care circle gets a notification that the dose hasn't been confirmed, with the time and medication. peaflow states the fact; it never tells anyone what to do about it.
Will peaflow tell us what to take or change?
No. peaflow organizes and reminds; it never decides. It is not medical advice. Confirm all medications and timing with your pharmacist or doctor.
Who can see my parent's medications?
Only the people in their care circle — the ones you invite. Records sync over an encrypted connection and are protected by row-level access rules. There are no ads and we never sell data.
What does Plus add?
Missed-dose alerts to the whole circle, unlimited circle members, 30-day adherence and per-medication history, and refill reminders. Plus is $29.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Deleting your account in the app hides everything right away, and it's permanently deleted within 30 days.
